The Retail Scenario Shopping The region does not have any mall type development serving as a one stop shopping destination The primary format is small shopping complexes built by the Municipal corporation scattered across the city . Each shop size is about 200 sq ft only. Most of the complexes are composite developments with retail shops on the lower levels and office space at the higher levels Poorly developed shopping infrastructure, no parking facilities nor air conditioning Cinema The city has only five operational cinema theatres which are in a bad state.
