    2. MOLEKLER BIYOLOJI Molekler biyoloji, canlilardaki olaylari molekler seviyede tetkik eden biyoloji dali. Molekler biyoloji son yillarda ehemmiyet kazanan genetik, biyokimya ve biyofizik gibi dallarin gelismesiyle ortaya ikti. Canli organizmada hayati ehemmiyetleri fevkalade ok olan nkleik asitler, proteinler ve enzimlerin yapilarinin tamamen aydinlatilmasi molekler biyolojinin ilgi alanidir. Bu maksatla X isinlari difraksiyonu ve elektron mikroskobu gibi ileri tekniklerden faydalanilir. Molekler biyoloji ayrica genlerle ilgili hadiselerin molekler seviyedeki incelemesini de yapar. Bu maksatla arastirmacilar genlerin kromozomlar zerindeki yerini ve bu genlerin canlilardaki roln inceler.
