  9. What is the definition of economy?

  10. Government controls all means of production and distribution. People have little choice.

  11. What is communism?

  12. More opportunities for individuals, profit, individuals may own businesses with little government intervention

  13. What are the benefits of a free enterprise/market or capitalist economy?

  14. When supply is low and demand is high, the prices will be high. When supply is high and demand is low, the prices will be low.

  16. Countries with low literacy rates, low life expectancy, poor services, and few jobs .

  18. To avoid loss of freedoms, censorship of the media, prevents abuse of power

  19. What are reasons for limiting Governments?

  20. A system that sets up laws and enforces them.

  22. Limited governments give the people more opportunities and freedom. Prevents the leaders from abusing power. Unlimited governments give leaders too much power to do what they want, and citizens have fewer rights.

  24. Republic (Representative Democracy), Constitutional Monarch and Direct Democracy

  25. What governments fall under a constitutional government?

  26. Constitutional Monarchy –ruled my many Direct democracy- ruled by many Representative democracy (Republic)- ruled by many *Leaders may not abuse the law as they are held to the same laws as the people.
