Enhanced Import Workflows and User Interface in CONTENTdm 4

CONTENTdm 4 introduces improved workflows for single and multiple compound object imports, featuring tab-delimited text and preview options. The acquisition station now supports four import methods tailored to diverse workflows. Enhanced server administration includes a new user interface, granular administrative rights, and robust security features. The item support includes PDF searching, automated text extraction, and EAD support. The new Collection Delivery interface offers hierarchical display, reverse sorting, and proximity searching, along with integrated OCR capabilities during import.
