  8. “Daily Life” • Agenda is on the side board (HMWK is written at the bottom of the board) • Notes taken on Notability (stylus is helpful) • TESTS given every 7-10 days • Vocab QUIZ every chapter (chapter 1 is an exception.. it’s a TEST because it’s longer than a normal quiz & the information is very important for the entire course!!)

  9. Homework Policy Homework is REQUIRED & it’s for typically for completion. If homework is missed, the student will receive a ZERO & will need to complete it in after school with me. (they will receive a 5 once it’s completed)

  10. Bathroom/Hall Passes • Your child receives 4 bathroom/hall passes at the beginning of each quarter. • If not used, each pass becomes +2 BONUS POINTS on a test. • If your child has any special circumstances and may need to frequent the restroom/get water more often than 4 times per quarter, please email me!

  11. Special Circumstances • If your student has any special needs, please let me know ASAP! • Needs to sit in a certain area of the room • Needs to use the bathroom (UTI, bladder/kidney issues, etc) • Needs to eat (diabetes, hypoglycemia, etc.) • Needs to get water regularly • Etc.

  13. Participation • This is a grade will be given weekly to ensure all students stay on task and engaged during class time. • Each week 100 points will be given (averages to 20 points per day). • Deductions will be given based on violations to the rules set forth on the syllabus you signed the 1st week of school. • This grade SHOULD be a “grade booster” if the student acts as expected, but this could be the difference between passing or failing the course.

  14. Make-up work • The student will have the amount of days he/she missed to make it up… after that, it’s a ZERO! • Tests/quizzes that must be proctored by a teacher, may have a longer time-frame to complete (arrangements should be made the day the student returns)

  15. My Little Family (& sweet baby Libbey will be here around Christmas)
