  3. Clauses and Provisions • All Clauses/ provisions start with 52.2 • Supplementedwith FAR Section Number • Suffix is a “-” and a sequential clause number.

  6. Modifying Clauses/Provisions • Many Provisions are “fill-in-the-blanks” to be completed by the offeror. • Modification not authorized unless specifically addressed in FAR • Alternate Clauses must be specified (e.g. Alternate 1)

Provisions / Clauses Automatically Included • 52.252-1 used to list provisions included by reference • 52.252-2 Used to identify clauses included by reference • Etc. • Clauses incorporated by reference have the same weight as if they were included in full text. • If a clause/provision differs from that in the FAR (e.g., a supplemental requirement) it shall be identified as a deviation.

Part IV is removed from the Solicitation to form the Contract.
