The Irish Transport Research Network (ITRN) is dedicated to enhancing transport teaching and research, informing policy, and aiding both public and private sectors in developing sustainable multi-modal transport systems. By employing best engineering practices and technology solutions, ITRN fosters innovative approaches to transport issues. Membership is free, although academics may charge for research. The annual ITRN conference presents ongoing research, featuring diverse topics like walkability, cycling infrastructure, and electric vehicle planning.

ITRN annual conference ITNR holds an annual conference (5-6 September in 2013).
