This exploration of the American Revolution, guided by John Adams' assertion that the Revolution was rooted in the minds and hearts of people before the military conflict began, seeks to deepen understanding of the social and ideological transformations that predated the war. Through collaborative document analysis, students will categorize evidence into thematic groups, construct thesis statements, and develop coherent body paragraphs highlighting the emotional and political shifts among colonists against British policies from 1763 to 1775.
