Guidelines for Successful Project Presentation and Delegation Binder Submission

  2. At the end of this course, 15% of your mark will be based on the following… • Your oral presentation • Your poster board • A delegation binder

  3. Presentation Dates • Presentations will take place in April – dates TBA

  4. Delegation Binder • On the final day of the presentation, each group will hand in a delegation binder • This binder… • Documents the stages your group went through to complete the project • Records how the work was delegated

  5. Delegation Binder The binder should have the following components, separated by dividers: • Title page • Table of contents

Table of Contents i) Delegation tracking sheet Task \ Date \ Person Responsible \ Action Taken \ Date completed or Follow up required ii) Financial analysis and charity proposal iii) Student worksheet 7 & 8: Academic Skills and Values iv) Telephone script v) Interview questions, and answers / jot notes from the interview vi) Thank you letter vii) Details, for presentation preparation, including sketch of poster board viii) Script for oral presentation ix) Rubric (appendix K)

  7. Delegation Binder • If the delegation binder shows that one or two members did insignificant work, then individual marks will be assigned

  8. Final Presentation • 10 – 15 minutes maximum • Address poster board • PowerPoint • Video clip of site visit? Skit? • Who will say what? Equal division of time • Professional (dress, language, tone) • Rehearsed (practice, don’t just read) • Capture audience’s attention somehow
