G.R.O.W. provides education, connections, and resources to support women-owned businesses. Our non-profit organization offers business training, financial management, and support services to help women achieve economic independence. With sliding scale fees and a focus on empowering women in transition, we aim to create success stories like the 30 new businesses opened and 175 new jobs created in 2008. Join us in supporting women entrepreneurs in Grand Rapids!

Mission • G.R.O.W. provides education, connections and resources that create and strengthen women-owned businesses • Non-profit organization specializing in training and advising women starting, maintaining or expanding a small business in the Grand Rapids area • Goal: To help women in transition achieve economic and financial independence

  7. Sliding Scale Fees • Applied to MYOB tuition Economic Literary class fees • Amount determined by the person’s total income and number of people in the household

  8. 2008 G.R.O.W. Statistics • 30 NEW businesses opened • 175 NEW jobs created • 1,869 clients were trained trained and counseled (72% started up businesses)
