  2. INHANCE TiC A Filler for Polymer Alloys

  3. What exactly is INHANCE TiC? • Titanium Carbide particles with treatments to increase their adhesion. • One of the hardest and most abrasion resistant materials known. • Excellent metal or ceramic filler substitute. • Light-weight.

  4. INHANCE TiC Applications: • Coatings, adhesives, & sealants • Polyurethane products • Nitrile rubber products • Rigid PVC goods • Abrasion resistant molded parts using TiC Polymer alloys

  5. Correlated Uses of INHANCE TiC: • Industrial floor coatings • Cast urethanes • O-rings, Seals, Shoe soles • Pipe, fittings • Bearings, Mechanical Seals, Pump impellers INHANCE TiC is commonly used in oil sucker rods due to its resistance to abrasion

  6. 1.54 X tensile strength 822% greater abrasion resistance 1.07 X flexural strength 91% less elongation Coefficient of Thermal Expansion is about 59% of a typical alloy steel Physical Properties of INHANCE TiC compared to typical Polyethylene

  7. Versatility…Substitute for various materials • Metals - “Filled or alloyed plastics are increasingly replacing mechanical components and machinery-parts made from steel and metal alloys.” • Plastics - “These new abrasion-resistant plastics have potential wear-life ratios better than 4X over unalloyed versions.”
