  4. There is so much variation in the life expectancy of a kangaroo, which makes it difficult to say how long they will live for. But kangaroos usually live to about 7 to 15 years on average.

  5. Kangaroos aren’t considered endangered, but they’re always getting hunted. Also with the amount of houses getting developed, kangaroos are having to migrate from their habitats and in the process, a large majority are getting killed in car accidents.

  6. Kangaroos are most commonly found in bush land and woodland, open forests, coastal heath land, grasslands, mallee scrub, mulga scrub and other scrubland. They have adapted to a variety of temperatures around Australia and are usually found in sub tropical and temperate zones.

  7. Kangaroos are constantly on alert for predators, they have ears with acute sensitivity, which can twist in any direction. Many parts of Australia are subject to seasonal flooding rains, but the kangaroo's body shape does not prohibit it from swimming, its’ legs actually make the kangaroos swim faster.
