  1. Types of Tractors- Uses and Benefits There is a wide range of tractor models in Indiathat suit specific tasks and requirements. Basically, tractors are divided into various categories. Here is the list of different types of tractors along with their uses and benefits. Utility Tractors -Those who are unable to buy different implements for operating various farming activities can use utility tractors. These tractors are used for general-purpose tasks including ploughing and adding another type of equipment through its drive. Row Crop Tractors -These tractors are designed to implement in farms wherein farmers plant crops in a row. These can be called as an all-rounder machine; it can be implemented for meeting agricultural needs including ploughing, harvesting, levelling, harrowing, pulling seed drills, etc. Orchard Type Tractors -These tractors are called a farm machine, basically designed for use in fruit orchards, nut orchards and vineyards.
