  1. Bronco Marching Band:Not Just Your Half Time Entertainment By: Michelle Szakal EDT 347 Lab-Monday 6:30-8:00 Howard Poole

  2. If it is not just half time entertainment, then what exactly do they do? • Beginning in July, members of the BMB start to train for the upcoming marching season. • In the last week of August, the entire band (approx. 300 members) joins together for BAND CAMP. Next slide

  3. This one time at band camp… • Band camp is not all that it is portrayed in the movies. Next slide • It is a very long week of 12 hour days. Practicing and rehearsing on a parking lot (by Lawson Ice Arena). Here, they learn how and where to move and play their music at the same time.

  4. One week of hard work is not that bad….. • Surprise…it is not only one week. They rehearse on the same parking lot Monday through Friday during the fall semester from 4:20pm-5:30pm. • They even rehearse on some SATURDAYS!!!! Next slide

  5. The BMB members work really hard all of the time and never find time for fun…right? Yes, that is right!!! No, that is wrong!!! Please choose an answer, Thank you!!
