Advancing Agricultural Technology Access for Rural Kenyan Communities

The AgriTradeKenya (ATK) project, led by the African Center for Women, Information & Communications Technology (ACWICT), aims to enhance access to ICT for rural farming communities in Kenya. By connecting farmers, fishermen, and livestock traders through digital networks, ATK strives to alleviate poverty and foster economic growth. Significant challenges include inadequate infrastructure and a lack of technical skills. The project delivers vital business proposals, marketing plans, and training to ensure continuous access to agricultural markets, thereby improving productivity and collaboration among stakeholders.
