The words need to be interesting • This is a famous poem by Jaemin Shin Salaka dulka Mechika bula Bibidi babidi bu Da da da da Da da da da da da Bibidi babidi bu (IF YOU KNOW THIS POEM,BE QUIET) You can see this poem is very fun to hear, because the words are made up, and it has a nice rhythm that makes you dance.

  3. For example… • Beneath thy long suspended fire In sunder break each warlike spear The universal Sabbath prove But hand in hand to Canaan go And learn the art of war no more -this is not popular poem by Augustus Montaque Toplady You can see this poem is boring, because it is full of non-interesting words that you dislike to hear.

Second, it needs to have a rhythm You can notice this is a terrible poem. • Check out this poem Sala there was a man named bobby He walked through the city and he saw one rock named bob and he found it was similar to his name Lala lala so he thought the rock was his friend which is a nonliving thing So he through the rock away when he noticed he is a living thing and rock is a nonliving thing

  5. This is a good one • Sala sala sala sala sala dala • Oh~ dala dala mechi bula dala dala • I want you dela dela dela bula bulka bula • I’m so sorry sorry sorry sorry • Looloo lala everybody looloo lala • Lalalalalala loo loo~ lala This rhythm makes everyone happy

  6. Third, Poet writes their sentiment to an object, or an animal • The cat feels lonely She is about to cry Oh~ maybe she wants to pray But her arms are to short To gather her hands She cries cries and cried This is a perfect poem that expresses the poets feelings to a cat.

  7. Fourth, it needs to be realistic • The rain is coming down quickly It is so fast, I wonder how many there are -This is a bad example, because it shows that is is only imaginary thoughts. -The silence of falling snow Can see from the lantern under dark sky -Great example that is realistic

  8. Fifth, it should have a straight type of poem • When you write a poem, choose one category you are going to write. • You can’t overlap the same topic over and over. • -Free verse-there is fluid but not free from design, organic, composed. Written in free way. • Dramatic-traditional form that often has 3rd person’s voice.
