  2. We loved the story of the Gingerbread Man so much that we decided to make our own gingerbread man. You won’t believe what happened!

  3. We made a gingerbread man all by ourselves! This is how we did it… We added the mix. We added the water.

  4. We used our muscles… We stirred and stirred and stirred and stirred.

  5. We turned him into a Gingerbread Man… We spooned out the dough. We added some candy.

  6. He’s done!

  7. Time to bake him… We put him in the oven. We hope he stays there!

  8. Oh no… He left us a note. He’s gone! Let’s go find him! Run, run, As fast as you can. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man! We went to the office.

  9. The search… We went to the nurse. We went to the library. We are going to catch him! We went to the Lost-and-Found.

  10. Where did he go? Run, run, As fast as you can. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!

  11. We chased him all over the school… We went to the pool. We went to the guard house.

  12. But we couldn’t catch him! But he left us a treat. He ran down the street. Run, run, As fast as you can. You can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man! Thank you Gingerbread Man!

  13. Not The End! We love you, Gingerbread Man! And we’re still looking for you!
