Once upon a time, a little old woman baked a gingerbread man with currants for eyes and cherries for buttons. But instead of being eaten, the gingerbread man jumped out of the oven and ran away, declaring, "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me!" His escapade begins as various animals, including a pig and a cow, join the chase. However, a sly fox offers to help him cross a river, revealing his true intentions. This whimsical tale explores themes of adventure, betrayal, and the consequences of believing too easily.

Once upon a time there was a little old woman who lived in a cottage. One day the little old woman made a gingerbread man. He had currants for his eyes, and cherries for buttons. She places him in the oven to bake.
The timer rang and the gingerbread man was done. It was time to eat, so the little old woman opened up the oven door, and out the window he went, shouting “Don’t eat me” Don’t eat me!
The little old woman ran after the ginger bread man. “stop, stop!” she yelled. The gingerbread man ran on saying, “ Run, run as fast as u can, u cant catch me I'm, the gingerbread man.
He continued along, and passed a pig. Run, Run as fast as you can, you cant catch me I'm the Gingerbread man Stop! Stop! I would like to eat you!
Then he met a cow. Stop! Stop! lil man I want to eat you! Run , Run as fast as u can you cant catch me I’m the gingerbread man
The cow followed by the pig and the little old woman began to chase him.
He ran along and met a horse. Stop! Lil man I want to eat you! Run, Run as fast as you can, you cant catch me I'm the Gingerbread man
He came to a river. A sly fox helped him across. I’ll help you! Yay!
