  5. OSP’s Role • OSP worked in 3 phases to validate template information received from departments and SAS, integrates financials, and uploads to FederalReporting.gov • Resolved any automatically generated error notices from NIH

Roles & Responsibilities Department/Principal Investigator School ARRA Specialists (SAS) Coordinates ARRA business Depts/School/University: SAS maintains School ARRA portfolio Expenditure review; adherence to A-21 Cost Principals Collect non-financial data from Dept/PI quarterly Devise and communicate quarterly deadlines Vendor Count (HSPH Only) Roles may vary slightly between schools • Complete and Update Data Request Sheets Quarterly: Fields include: • Award Description • Project Activities • Jobs created & retained • Jobs Narrative • Place of Performance • Vendor Count (HMS only)

  7. Finding your awards online Log onto:www.Recovery.gov Click: Where’s the Money Going Select: Recipient Reported Data Chose: MA (+) DHHS (or other cognizant agency) Select: Recipient Reported Chose: Your award #

Updates • Job’s guidance • New Guidance was issued December 18th by OMB • The method/formula for calculating jobs was simplified to use a percentage of FTE to express jobs created or retained. • Jobs are counted quarterly -no longer cumulative • Resulting in new ARRA Jobs Guidelines –draft date: 1/12/2010
