Introducing the Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth Business Plan Competition • Tenth year running • Administered by Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship • First with Seed Financing Invitational concept • Open to all UCI students, researchers and faculty • Each team must have at least 3 members • Each team must have at least 2 full time, currently registered UCI students

Benefits of Participation • Key skill to have whatever one does in life • Develop analytical and team building skills • Consummate networking opportunity • $30,000 in cash awards • Tech Coast Angels Seed Financing Invitational • Free download of Business Plan Pro by Palo Alto Software • 7 great skills workshops taught by experts in their fields • Very few other places you can form a team, create a business plan and generate financing for your idea in four months • It’s fun!! • Potentially create first job out of college • Bottom line: It’s about realizing dreams

  9. Key Dates • BPC Kick-off:     Jan. 16, 2008 • Meet other teams, coaches, Tech Coast Angels and Stradling partners • Energize your teams, hit the ground running • Entry Deadline: Feb. 1, 2008 • Final Judging:    May 16, 2008 • Registration begins Dec. 10, 2007
