  4. The Program - Objectives and Mission • Offer low-cost AHA CPR and First Aid courses • Certify undergraduates, faculty, and community members • Teach classes every weekend in Ackerman Union

  11. Why Join? The Fun Stuff! • Socials: KBBQ, Knott’s Scary Farm, Getty Museum, game nights, ice blocking, and more • Retreats with SWC: Big Bear, Marina Del Rey, San Diego • CPR and SWC end-of-the-year banquets

Instructor Requirements • Commitment: 2 continuous quarters (Winter and Spring) • Teach 3 classes per quarter (approximately 3 hours each) • Flyer for about 2 hours per quarter • Give 1classroomannouncement per quarter • Attend 1 general meeting and 1 SWC event • Participate in 2 days of mandatory instructor training during Fall Quarter

  13. Application Process • Submit application (found online) to uclacpr@gmail.com by October 25th • Obtain CPR certification by November 8th • Interview during November 1st or 2nd • Receive decision email before November 5th • Attend mandatory training sessions on November 8thand November 9th
