Cres is our biggest island (same as Krk) with about 405 km2 , with mountaineous, 66 km long and 2 to 12 km large. Cres is an island of contrasts, rises to 648 meters in hight, has lake Vrana with fresh water, thick forests of oak trees to karstic barren land.
