The Shibboleth Consortium, initiated by Internet2, JISC, and SWITCH, aims to create a sustainable framework for the development, maintenance, and support of the Shibboleth open-source project. Formally chartered in April 2013, the Consortium is committed to broadening its membership base to ensure its success. By joining, organizations can guarantee access to Shibboleth's quality software, participate in governance, and contribute to ongoing development. Various membership options accommodate organizations of all types and sizes, fostering community engagement and collaboration.
