  4. Posing and Answering Questions - is a way of giving information by first asking a question. After the question is asked, an answer is given. Posing a question – The writer asks a question (usually a rhetorical question) • Who was the first President of the United States? Answering a question- The writer provides an answer to the question asked • The first President of the United States was George Washington. • George Washington is often referred to as the father of his country. • George Washington was born on February 22, 1732 that is when we celebrate President’s Day.
