  2. What is a Myth? a traditional or legendary story, usually concerning some being or hero or event, with or without a determinable basis of fact or a natural explanation, esp. one that explains some practice, rite, or phenomenon of nature. Example: Thunder is the result of angels bowling

  3. Raccoon’s Last Race • Do you think the raccoon is happy with his new shape? Why? • Did the raccoon learn his lesson? What was it? • What animals have unique shapes, colors, or defense mechanisms that may have developed over time?

  4. How Turtles Came to Live in Shells He saw a tiny shell and decided to not to take any chances and hide under it. Turtles once lived without shells. But one day the king turtle saw a scary hippopotamus! Unfortunately he got stuck and was forced to live in a shell forever. As the king, all of the other baby turtles followed him and lived in shells as well.
