Biography • Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta • At eleven, she was accepted to Julliard of Manhattan • Signed with Def Jam Records, dropped her contract after a few months • Worked at Interscope Records • She was a songwriter for bands and artists such as Brittney Spears, The Pussy Cat Dolls, Fergie and other popular artists • Inspirations: Michael Jackson, David Bowie, Queen, Madonna and Brittney Spears • How she gained her stage name was from Queen’s song, “Radio Ga Ga.”

Song History • Featured on her The Fame Monster album • Song was written for Brittney Spears, but it was rejected • Big hit all over the world, and it sold 7.4 million copies • “The main inspiration of the song was Gaga's fear of not being able to enjoy herself because of her dedication to her career; hence the lyrics portray the singer as preferring the dance floor, rather than answering her lover's phone calls.” • Genre: Electropop
