The Main School Rules • Always be polite. • Be patient in the dining room. • Eating is not allowed in classrooms. • Do not bring chewing gum into school. • Help to keep the school tidy. • Make sure you have everything you need for lessons (e.g. pencils, pens e.t.c) • Mobile phones with photographic/internet access and digital cameras are not allowed on site. continued on next page..

The Main School Rules • Never bring dangerous or illegal articles to school e.g. Knives, guns, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, matches, lighters, fireworks, stink bombs, aerosols and laser key-rings. • Take great care on your journeys to and from school • Mobile phones must be turned off in school • Behaviour such as smoking, spitting and bullying is not tolerated • Keep away from the school buildings and grounds out of school hours unless you have good reason

Reward Stamps in Planner Bronze Reward(50 stamps) Silver Reward(100 stamps) Gold Reward(200 stamps) and a letter home Platinum Reward(350 stamps and a £10.00 gift voucher Best in school Reward (and a £25 gift voucher) Level 1- a clear verbal warning Level 2-a 10 minute detention Level 3- a contact home and involve your parents and a 45 minute detention Level 4- a report card and at least a 45 minute detention Consequences Positive Negative

  5. the five classroom rules • Be on time and ready for work • Follow instructions straight away • No eating, drinking or chewing in classrooms • When the teacher is talking remain silent or and raise your hand if you wish to speak • Do not touch anyone else, their equipment or belongings

  6. Our Thoughts We think some rules really shouldn’t be enforced, but overall the rules are there for the protection of us and our property and are not that bad.
