Step Two – Share about Themes! • We are looking for positive and quality content from participants throughout the summer on the monthly THEMES! • Blog Posts – post the link on our page • Upload photos – tag HelpWorld Intl. Only applicable pictures for the theme of the month • Post Links – local HELP related info • @ us in statuses and posts about your activities on your wall • # your team • Additional points if we feature your blog on our website • Prizes awarded monthly for individual and team rewards Quality not Quantity!
Step Three - Tell a story • The story of an individual is most impactful • Choose an individual or family that you want to tell their story and how your internship impacted them • Focus on human dignity! • Collect • Pictures • Video Clips • Notes • Keep notes and media to make a video upon return • Submit video by Sept 30, 2011 to be considered • Video must not be longer than 3 minutes!
Incentives • Individual Rewards • At the end of each month (results tallied on the 25th of each month) we will award a prize to the individual who has the most quality posts and social media activity (relating to the monthly theme) • 2 extra days vacation • $250 towards a weekend trip with one other team member • Team Rewards • At the end of each month (results tallied on the 25th of each month) we will award a prize to the team who has the most quality posts and social media activity! (relating to the monthly theme). MUST #tag (eg #Lugazu) to participate • Dinner in-country for the whole team.
Incentives continued… • “Tell a Story” Prize (done individually or in groups) • These must be turned in by September 30th. Judges will determine the top 3 videos which will be featured at the HELP International reunion in October 2011 and award prizes as follows: • First Prize: $300 • Second Prize: $200 • Third Prize: $100 • “End of the Year Video” Prize (done by team) • The team that submits the best video about their summer will win dinner provided by HELP for their team reunion!
