  7. The quality assurance system and quality control system are an • indispensable factor in determining the reliability of the work of • forensic laboratories / institutes. The same is, according to its EU • legislation, obligatory for all forensic laboratories institutes in the • EU (through decisions of the Council of the EU in relation to DNA • tests of dactyloscopic expertise). The quality of the analyzes and the results of court expertises are • important for the judicial system, law enforcement, crime prevention and health policy, as well as for international • harmonization, exchange and coordination of information and • forensic data in the world.
