  1. Know About The Different Types Of Office Window Blinds

  2. Modern office buildings are made up of glass facades. This means that almost the entire wall, barring the columns, are windows spaces. Such a large amount of windows means lots of natural light and that’s great to reduce your electricity bill, but it also means that there is too much direct sunlight and heat especially during afternoon times. This means the necessity for powerful air conditioning, which translates into a higher electricity bill. Thankfully, we have window blinds. If you have taken up an office space, following are 9 different types of blinds you can use for your office. Simple Roller Blinds These are the simplest office window blinds that you can opt for. Roller Blinds These blinds are made up of a single fabric and can be rolled up or down on a shaft that is hung at the top of the window. Roller blinds come in a variety of designs, thus allowing you more non-conventional choices. These are also very easy to maintain.

  3. Energy Saving Blinds The main purpose of these office window blinds is to help make the office space more energy efficient. Cellular Window Shades These offer fantastic energy saving benefits and prevent energy loss at the windows. They also come in a variety of colours & shades and hence can add a lot of personality to your office. Sandwich Venetian Blinds These are traditional venetian blinds enclosed between two layers of glass. The double layer glass automatically offers insulation and prevents energy loss at the windows.

  4. Light Control Blinds These office window blinds are installed with the purpose of having more light control. These category of office window blinds help in protecting office furniture & equipment from UV damage. Venetian Blinds These are among the most popular choices of office window blinds. However, they are good for small windows and personal cabins. Venetian blinds have slats that can be rotated and thus provide you with good light control. Roman Shades They are similar to venetian blinds but are made of fabric rather than slats. These are also suited for smaller cabins and are not apt for wide window facades. Vertical Fabric Blinds They are good for personal cabins that feature broad window facades. Vertical fabric blinds contain vanes that give good light control.

  5. Top-Down & Bottom-Up Blinds These are great spaces that see a large amount of sunlight directly entering the office space. By lowering them from above, one can block the sunrays, while still allowing for great light to enter. Blackout Blinds These are great for conference rooms and media display rooms because of their ability to completely block out the light.
