  2. Who IS Refugees The Australian Government has signed an important treaty United Nations Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees. According to this the refugees which are facing difficulties in their own countries they can come to Australia and can become a permanent resident based on their situation. In simple terms, refugees are the persons who don’t want to return their country because of the issue faced by them due to race, caste, religion. There are proper steps taken to check that candidate is facing real issues or not.

  3. What is Refugee Resettlement Process? There is not a fixed procedure to find out about refugees but due to international obligations, Australia has set a procedure. The whole procedure of refugee visa Australia start when the candidate applies for a protection visa. Then the whole procedure is followed to check that person is fulfilling the criteria or not as set by the Migration Act. Ultimately the decision is taken by the decision maker to check whether the candidates are facing real issues or not.

  4. How The Real Refugees are Identified? The immigration department considers the person’s point of view only and only if they are able to present enough proof related to it. For example:- The man is presenting his pov that he cannot return to his XYZ country because he faces death threat by some community people because of his cast and religion then he needs to present enough proofs related to it and the whole thing recheck with the country that he is saying the truth or not. If the Australian government found that he is a genuine refugee then only he can apply for refugee visa 200.

  5. What They Do With Those Who Come By Boat ? The Australian has changed their law completely after February 2012, and now they have different rules and regulation who came from the boat. Only a few or less than a few people who came to Australia by boat or who are asylum seeker gets status of refugees mostly application is rejected. The applicant whose application is accepted is only eligible for a three-year temporary visa or five years safe haven enterprise visa.

  6. How Much This Process Is Fair ? Most people who came as a refugee doesn’t have enough proofs and sometimes due to traumatic experiences they are not able to speak about bad incidents than at that point. The decision is purely based on the interviewer and each interviewer has its own experience with refugees, so sometimes they make the decision based on their experience. So, the country has now worked on improving their system, because if asylum seeker again returns to his/her country due to their application rejection may cause serious harm to them.
