  4. The dictionary says… : the quality or state of being scarce;  especially: want of provisions for the support of life

  5. In an organization Are available resources regarded as half-full or half-empty?

  6. Why is this important?

  7. Look at the headlines • U.S. Recession Worst Since Great Depression, Revised Data Show • A total of 5.133 million jobs have been lost since January 2008 • $11.2 trillion: Total losses in the stock market from the Dow's peak in October 2007 to the March 2009 bottom • Foreclosures in 2011 to break last year's record:
