Molecular Genetic Applications and Barcoding

This research presents the integration of molecular genetics and barcoding techniques to enhance biodiversity assessments. Conducted at the State Herbarium and Bioknowledge SA, in collaboration with the Department of Earth & Environmental Science at the University of Adelaide, it highlights the significance of genetic markers in species identification and conservation efforts. The study addresses the role of DNA barcoding in elucidating complex plant taxonomies and promotes the use of molecular tools in ecological and environmental research.
