This event challenges high school teams to tackle scientific problems by gathering and processing data. Teams of up to two students have 50 minutes to answer questions in areas such as physics and chemistry. Participants will utilize probes like CBR2 and colorimeters to investigate topics such as motion, colligative properties, and concentration changes. Resources include data analysis software and additional training materials. Up to three events may be held at regional, state, and national tournaments, with a tie-breaking event staged at one of the main stations.
