Adding with decimal fractions. I am learning to add with 1 decimal place fractions. Questions like 3.7 + 2 .5 = ?. Craig has 1 whole chocolate bar and 4 tenths of a chocolate bar. In another room he has 2 chocolate bars and 8 tenths. Step 1 : Imagine the two amounts.
