This document outlines the work of the Early Intervention Foundation (EIF) in enhancing policy choices through evidence-based practices. Launched in March 2013, EIF collaborates with 20 pioneering places, including Greater Manchester, Newcastle, and Plymouth, to implement an Early Intervention Maturity Matrix, needs analysis, and evaluation of interventions. Key findings show that a significant percentage of interventions lack evidence of effectiveness. The EIF aims to improve commissioning and services through demonstrated projects that include Functional Family Therapy and early parenting support.
