Crafting Your 10th Grade Portfolio Presentation for Spring Conferences

Next year, during the Spring Conferences, you will showcase your 10th Grade Portfolio Presentation. This twofold presentation involves selecting an area of interest or passion and explaining how you are working towards AHS graduation outcomes. Illustrate your progress in becoming an effective communicator, a collaborative problem solver, and an involved citizen. You will need to complete 5 hours of self-directed learning in your chosen area. Reflect on your experiences and share your learning journey. Discuss ideas with classmates and consider how to incorporate your project into summer plans.

  2. Next year, during the Spring Conferences, you will be giving your10th Grade Portfolio Presentation.

  3. Your 10th Grade Portfolio Presentation will be Twofold: • Select an Area of Interest/Passion.

  4. 2. Explain How you are working towards AHS Outcomes for Graduation. Give clear examples on how you are making progress towards becoming: An EFFECTIVECOMMUNICATOR A CREATIVE AND COLLABORATIVE PROBLEM SOLVER An INVOLVED CITIZEN WHO VALUES DIVERSITY A STEWARD OF THE NATURAL WORLD A HEALTHY AND ACTIVE COMMUNITY MEMBER An APPRECIATOR OF THE ARTS A SELF-DIRECTED AND LIFELONG LEARNER

  5. Pick an Area of Interest and Pursue it! • It can be a single experience...

  6. Or more in depth.

  7. You just need to do 5 hours of Self-Directed Learning in the Area of Your Interest

  8. Reflect and Explain:What you learned and What are your next steps.

  9. WHAT IDEAS DO YOU HAVE RIGHT NOW FOR YOUR PORTFOLIOPRESENTATION? Turn to your neighbor and discuss 2-3 ideas.
