This article explores essential aspects of video technology, including the significance of frame rates, screen ratios, video formats, and screen resolutions. Frame rates determine how many frames are displayed per second, influencing film quality. Screen ratios define the aspect of the viewing area. Various video formats like MOV and VLC are crucial for compatibility. Screen resolution affects image sharpness, with 240p considered low compared to the more advanced 1080p. Additionally, compression techniques are vital for reducing file sizes for easier handling of images and videos.

  2. Frame rate • Frame rates are important as its means how many frames a second are played. Films use to be 24 fps and this worked until more action and higher quality films came out which started using 60 and higher.

  3. Screen ratio • Screen ratio is the length and width of the screen • these are all the different Types of screen Ratio.

  4. Video format • The video or movie that you are using must have a format so you can use it on certain programs on your computer e.g .MOV or .VLC

  5. Screen resolution • Screen resolution is how sharp the image is and how many pixel there are on screen. • There are different screen resolutions, like 240p which is how many pixels there are on the screen, 240 is low resolution compared to the new 1080p cameras that make sharper smother images.

  6. compression • Compression is used so you can change the size of a picture in to data so it can be moved easier, this is also done on videos as they are normally massive so the can be compressed.
