  1. GOOD WINEMAKING REGIONS YOU MAY NOT KNOW IN THE U.S

  2. You have to agree with me that not all wineries in the U.S have attracted people’s attention and possibly got recognized. There are some winemaking regions in the United States of America that specializes in production of great quality wines and yet, could not get much recognition across the country.

  3. In this article, we shall be looking at some of these regions that are silently thriving in winemaking business.

  4. Colorado’s western slope Many people know Colorado as one of the best region for skiing, climbing, trekking, and other sports; but unfortunately, only a few people know that this region is a great place for winery tour.

  5. There are several vineyards located at western Slope in which large numbers of grapes are grown; and many of these wineries are found around towns like Grand Junction and Palisade.

  6. Unarguably this region is producing some nice quality wines and it also have the potentials to become one of the region that have a lot number of wineries in the U.S.

  7. Columbia valley, Washington Columbia valley has a large number of clustered vineyards in which grapes are grown; and the region has the potential to thrive in winemaking business.

  8. It is understands that there are now over 80 wineries in this region; of which many, out of the 80 are not recognized or do not attract much attention, regarding the facts that some nice quality wines are been produced within the region.

  9. Finger Lake region, New York This is another winemaking region in the United States that does not get much recognition across the country. Reports shows that, there are more than 11,000 acres of vineyards used for growing of grapes in this region;

  10. gladly the region is rapidly thriving as research reveals that there are now over 100 independent wineries in operation within the region. I will boldly tell you that; this region will become one of the most exciting wine producing regions in the U.S in few years to come.

  11. Texas hill country This region is becoming more attractive nowadays; may be it’s because of the beautifully-made natural landscape found in most of the towns within the region.

  12. Nevertheless, there are several number of wineries found in this region mostly around the town of Fredericksburg where you can find a lot of vineyards of which grapes are grown in order to make production of a very lovely wine with high quality taste.

  13. Lake Erie wine country This is one region that serves as an ideal place for growing wine grapes and also be a place for making some nice quality wines. There are a lot number of vineyards found along the shores of Lake Erie near Ohio, and western New York.

  14. In this region you can find a variety of grapes of which different types of white and red wines are made. Although the numbers of wineries identified in this region are not more than 30, but the region have great potentials to be one of the top winemaking region in the United States in few years time.
