  3. Rapid Response in Snohomish County Triggers • Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) • Public Announcement • Media Story • Word “on the Street” • Dislocated Workers • Other

Rapid Response in Snohomish County Communications • Rapid Response Coordinator contacts the business to develop customized plan to meet needs • Partners are notified of the dislocation or the potential for dislocation based on the plan developed with the business • Plan is agreed upon with business • Rapid Response Team is organized to provide planned services

Rapid Response in Snohomish County Communications for Cross-County Dislocations • Washington State Employment Security Department makes contact at state and workforce development area levels • Workforce Development Council Snohomish County makes contact with other affected Workforce Development Councils • Rapid Response Team makes contact with counterpart team(s) in other affected workforce development areas • Joint communications plans and collateral are developed by the Rapid Response Team(s)
