What is TVWebber? • TVWebber is a turnkey solution that enables web video content providers to repurpose a linear channel, broadcasting 24/7 in to a transcoded VOD clips ready to be loaded to your CDN with all required metadata. TVWebber comes in two flavors: • Lite – For transcoding and creating clips according to programming • Pro – adds content detection capabilities for managing commercial content. TVWebber Advantages: • Transcode any number of feeds to either WMV or Flash • Industry standard robustness, ensuring high reliability • Recorded dual bit rate per channel, for different bandwidths • Automatically remove commercials and\or replace it with web oriented commercials

  3. TVWebberLite - System Description 1. Linear channel is ingested into the system 24/7 2. User is entering a programming information 3. System automatically encodes and creates all required clips and metadata 4. All information can be uploaded automatically to remote server, either manually or automatically

  4. TVWebberLite - Simple Web Interface All system parameters and configuration are controlled from a simple and intuitive web interface. With the web interface you can track recorded media, preview live and recorded media, upload programming or easily create one by yourself.

TVWebberLite - Feeds Status • Easily view the status of all your channels: • View a single channel, a group or even all channels at one glance • Get notifications about recording status • Get instant alert if there is a problem with the feed such as signal loss, frozen image, no audio or audio too high/low and more

  6. TVWebber Pro - Remove and Replace Commercials TVWebber Pro adds the possibility to track down commercials and Ad breaks. In cases where automatic detection is not enough, or additional cutting and editing are needed, TVWebber Pro offers an easy interface for removing selected items, and easily replacing them with other media items such as web oriented commercials.

TVWebber Specifications • Recording Unit Specifications • Automatically produce files from specified programming schedule (EPG) • Automatic transfer of produced files to FTP and HTTP server, or through proprietary file transfer • Optionally detect content to remove such as TV advertising • Record content to WMV files using Microsoft WMV9/VC-1 or MP4 files using H.264/AVC • Web-based user interface uses installed Windows Media Player or Flash Player • Compatible with web streaming out of the box • Content is available through system user-interface, streaming video, or network file access • 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 or 24 audio/video feed inputs • Composite NBC or S-Video for each input • Unbalanced RCA stereo audio for each input • Optional for 1-6 SDI connections with multiple audio streams • PAL, NTSC or SECAM, all variants • Configurable frame size up to full frame (720x480 for NTSC and 720x576 for PAL) • Configurable frame rate (up to 30 on NTSC, 25 on PAL) • Configurable on-frame overlay in recording or export, static (such as channel name) and dynamic (such as date and time) • Configurable bitrates up to broadcast-quality (multiple mbps) • Support for multiple bitrate recording for a single source • Based on Windows – XP Pro and 2003 Server supported • Automated removal of old content to make space of new content • Configurable storage, including any external network storage and the internal storage • RAID5 internal 3TB net storage, good for 550 24-hour days of content at 512kbps quality total • Configurable recording schedule, with multiple schedule per single channel • Export any time range to any bitrate at WMV9, FLV, MPEG-2, H.264 and other formats • On-screen, audio, email and SMS alerts on no-audio, low-audio, high-audio, no-video and frozen image • Scale to multiple units managed centrally in the same user interface • Open HTTP-based API for integration with 3rd side applications

TVWebber Specifications • Application Specifications • Centralized managed all channels on recording units • Create and edit per-channel electronic program guide (EPG) • Selectively specify programs to produce to prevent right infringement • Reports can be created in txt, csv, excel and xml file formats • Automatic creation of jpg image for each clip for integration with VOD systems • Optionally insert pre-roll, post-roll, and embedded content such as advertising • Produce new programming, including fill-up content for gaps due to rights limitation
