  2. They built large cites like Rome ,Italy. • Mostly their buildings were large and made from stone.

  3. army • The Romans had the best army in the wide whole world. • The officer in charge of 100 men was called centurion.

  4. weapons • They carried lots of weapons like a sword or a javelin. • They where heavy sandals with nail studs.

  5. Sometimes the legionaries placed their shields together in a special shape called the Tortoise
