  2. Value proposition for Qute Customer •Affordable and value for money i.e. Mileage of 36km/L is twice that of an ordinary car •Convenience of getting around. Utility over anything else •Safer than convenience vehicles like Auto , Bikes •Speed is limited to 70 km .Certified as safe for road by regulatory authority •Environment friendly i.e. 37% lower emission 1.The lady commuter: •Needs a reliable mode of transportation without hassle •Working professional with good income •Goes for scooty for getting around , prefers its convenience •Prefers private transportation for safety •Dalberg Global Advisors interviewed Mumbai women travelling frequently in buses and local train , they found most of modes of transportation ‘unsafe’ •Bus stop farther away from home Value added from Qute: •Affordable solution to daily commute needs. Compact size for parking . No Hassle and no Non sense car. •Secure than public transportation •Symbol of responsibility and independence. •Safer than two wheelers i.e. scooty. According to Deloitte report , share of personal car will grow at cost of mobility solutions like bikes • 2. Cab service providers: • Major Cab operators OLA and UBER, can provide accommodation of the QUTE fleet , as these providers are venturing into different modes of transportation. For ex: OLA auto and OLA food delivery . • By leveraging this, the marketing costs can be minimized while increasing the market presence of QUTE. • Cab providers have tie-ups with multiple companies for daily transportation of employees. • These factors provide avenues for revenue generation in new cities. • Value added from Qute: • Economic for cab drivers • Safe and affordable option for adding to the existing fleet of cabs • Advantageous in traffic conditions 3.Second car for family •Car is still seem as a social status symbol for families. A brand new car has its own connotations i.e. We expect first car to say something about how far we have come. •But what about the second car? it say to own a second car just for utility. •Use of second car for short distances. •Teach your young adult child how to drive a car and buy Qute as his or her first car Value added from Qute •A young adult would be happy to have a new mode of transportation. Youth prefers bike but parents prefer safety for their child. • Qute is the perfect compromise for this family. •Morning commute for college in Qute instead of fast paced bikes •Peace of mind for family as it is safer than bike at an affordable price

  3. Potential Markets for Launching QUTE: Cities As per the value proposition, Bajaj QUTE has an advantage in the given 5 cities . The advantages are: New segment of affordable vehicle Compact, Light and Safe Efficient fuel consumption Environment friendly

  4. Rationale for Selection of Cities: In accordance with Cost of living Index, transportation costs were considered against the average Cost of transportation of Rs 1200/month for India. As these cities have higher fuel prices, efficient fuel consumption plays a big role. As cars contribute to 24% of road accidents, road safety is an important factor. With increase in number of vehicles, factoring in the traffic congestion in day-to-day life matters. It results in a loss of $22bn per year in India. If we look at the trends from 2008-2017, middle class income group is on the rise and it prefers smaller (affordable) cars, which contributes to 33% sales in the automobile sector.
