Andrew Lesnak created his own u201cCommunity Outreach Programu201d, in order to assist victims of catastrophic events, like him. He worked to provide financial assistance to the victims, which was helpful in the rebuilding of both their homes and their personal lives. With his commitment to volunteerism, Andrew found an opportunity to help those that were struggling to recover successfully. He also assists the victims learn how to cope with their losses, both mentally and financially.

Andrew Lesnak Worked to Provide Financial Assistance to the Victims
Hurricane Sandy took a Toll on the Personal Life of Andrew Lesnak • Andrew’s life caved into a state of constant turmoil, uncertainty, despair and loss of wealth, because of the total losses suffered by the hurricane • At age 50. He was retired and leading a very content and a successful lifestyle • His wealth came from owning a successful financial planning firm of more than 30 years • Unfortunately, Hurricane Sandy “stole” his home, personal belongings and business, and essentially left him as a hopeless victim of the storm
His Exposure to Hurricane Sandy led him to Higher Levels of Depression, Anxiety, and Stress • Andrew Lesnak volunteers and donates to Red Cross Organization, which is aimed at helping people affected by the tragic events, like the hurricane • This organization was responsible for his food and shelter when he was a victim of the hurricane • He created his own “Community Outreach Program”, in order to assist victims of catastrophic events, like him • He worked to provide financial assistance to the victims, which was helpful in the rebuilding of both their homes and their personal lives • With his commitment to volunteerism, Andrew found an opportunity to help those that were struggling to recover successfully • He also assists the victims learn how to cope with their losses, both mentally and financially
Andrew could relate to those Struggling with Addiction and Depression • He could empathize with the sense of hopelessness of the victims • He believed that the victims lost hope in how to rebuild their lives after the disaster • Andrew decided to volunteer his time to counseling those suffering victims • He made the best use of his positive experiences in mental health counseling therapy • Andrew Lesnak shared his positive experiences with the victims, to hopefully instill some perspective and positivity in how they are to approach counseling
His Life Prior to Hurricane Sandy • Prior to hurricane, Andrew Lesnak was leading a financially comfortable life, and had retired at age 50 • He played Major League Baseball with the Minnesota Twins in 1982 • He was the owner/operator of a successful financial planning firm of 30 years
