Wiss, • It was established in 1984 for the collection of interests in teaching and study of research for modern and historic art of architecture. • From the start of this center they have focused on providing students and prospective students with the history and art of architecture. They focused on architectural aspects such as: 1: Architectural Criticism 2: Design Theory w/ Frameworks 3: Several methods of study which may be pursed 4: And Discussion Forums on the Opportunities at hand General Information:

Virginia Tech is located in Blacksburg, Virginia. • Virginia Tech is ranked 47th out of thousands in university research in the U.S. • Currently the are 30,000+ full time students enrolled. 42% of VT students is female. 58% of VT students is males. The majority of the students live on campus. More than 80% is under-graduate, and a little less than 20% is graduates. • It would take about 6 years to obtain a masters in Architectural Design, depending on the individual. • It has a 16:1, student: faculty ratio General Information (cont’d.)

And if your just starting out you can make up to $50-$80,000 annually. • The tuition for an Architectural program at VT varies depending on how long you study. • The average rate for a masters in architectural design at VT is anywhere from $19,000-$28,000. • Even though the career isn’t in high demand, architects will be needed in the future to design and construct buildings needed to protect our future and other uses.
