  2. Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.

  3. Thinking about this. • Where do you fit on this pyramid? • How would you feel if you were lower? • People generally don’t put themselves in a situation where they are lower on the pyramid purposefully. They often find themselves there as a child and never get out of it.

  4. Discussion questions • Central HS is a good sample of Rapid City. • 1. From what we have learned from fellow students and the speaker, how has your outlook on others changed?

  5. Question 2 • What can a 14-15 year old do to make Rapid City a better place to live?

  6. Question 3 • What do you expect adults to do to make our community a better place?

  7. Question 4 • Will you remember to do this when you are an adult? Why/Why not?

  8. Question 5 • Why don’t people move up on ‘Maslow’s Hierarchy’ pyramid?

  9. Questions to answer for homework: • Answer each question with at least 4 sentences. • What is the most important thing you learned in this unit? • What can you do differently to make your community a better place? • What was your favorite part of this unit and why?
