JOB SEARCH WORKSHOPS PROGRAM (JSW) MISSION STATEMENT • JSW program provides training, educational resources, and program and financial monitoring of subcontracted agencies delivering short-term job search workshops for newcomers to Ontario • JSW ensures its high quality services as part of COSTI Immigrant Services in partnership with the Ontario Coalition of Agencies Serving Immigrants and is fundedby CIC

  5. JSW CLIENT OVERVIEW • Majority of clients are one year or less in Canada • 2-6 months following completion of program have found work • Lack Canadian work experience and references • Lack recognition for foreign credentials • Dealing with transitions and losses
