WBQ Intermediate PSE

  2. Starter • Brainstorm ways you can help protect our environment. WALT: • To examine how the environment is being affected by human actions • To explore ways of protecting our environment.

What is ESDGC? • “Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship” • The rights of future generations to meet their basic needs • Taking personal responsibility for changing our own lifestyles as a response to local and global issues • The interdependence of global economic systems and the effects of human development on natural systems • The tensions between economic growth , sustainable development and basic human needs
