What does Haya do? • Saves us in case of “accidents” • Controls our “Hawa” • Makes us different & better than animals • Makes us good mannered, polite • Stops us from making a fool of ourselves • Makes us feel sorry after making a mistake • Makes us apologize • Makes our relationships pleasant • Stops us from showing off

  3. Allah wants us to have HAYA – our seat belt on at all times

  4. We MUST stay away from things that can take our seatbelt off

  5. Alcohol & drugs Take away our seat belt of HAYA

  6. That is why Allah has made them Haram

  7. Without HAYA We hit rock bottom Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low. {Surah At-Tin 95: Verse 5}

  8. Accident WILL HAPPEN

  9. Bad Company can loosen our seatbelt

  10. The Prophet (PBUH) said: A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend.

  11. Friends Influence US And WE Influence our Friends

  12. BE Assertive

  13. Media can give a false picture of HAYA

  14. Fooled us once, shame on them Fooled us twice, shame on us!

  15. Keep our HAYA level high
