About : Merge Ledgers • Many times, if the data entry is done by the multiple users, there is a possibility to have multiple ledgers for the same purpose. • In such case we need to change all the vouchers for unwanted ledger and then need to delete the duplicate ledger. This is very time consuming job. • This utility will help you to do this. It will automatically move entries from one ledger to another and delete the first ledger. So ….Enjoy !!!!

  3. Features : Merge Ledgers • You can merge source ledger into destination ledger. • All the voucher entries (even if belonging to different accounting period) will be moved to the new ledger. • The “Source Ledger” will be automatically deleted. • If “Destination Ledger” does not exist then, you can create new ledger without exiting the current screen.

  4. Caution of use : Merge Ledgers • Although due care has been taken while development of the utility. It is always good to take backup before running this utility. • Note that, this utility will not work in Tally Educational mode. • We individually, or Sankalp Infotech do not take any responsibility for corruption of data or loss of data on use of this utility.

  5. How to use : Merge Ledgers Go to : Gateway of Tally  Accounts Info.  Merge Ledgers Please take backup of data Before running this !!

  6. How to use : Merge Ledgers Select the Ledger from which you want to move the vouchers.

  7. How to use : Merge Ledgers Select Destination Ledger where you want to move the vouchers. Press Alt+C to create the new ledger. Please note : You can merge Ledgers of Same group only.

  8. How to use : Merge Ledgers Press “Y” to start the process !!

  9. How to use : Merge Ledgers Tally may show this question. Just Press “Y” to start the process !!

  10. Here is the TDL file…. • Click the icon shown above. • System will ask the virus warning. Please ignore the same and click – Yes. • The file will be opened in Notepad. • Please save the file in your Tally folder using Save as option. • Open the Tally.ini file in Notepad from your Tally folder • Set the option as TDL=UTIL006_Ver1_00_Merge Ledgers.tdl • Restart Tally.
